Points of Prayer

  • Oman seeing more locals coming to faith than ever before in history.

  • Pray for a rapid expansion of the gospel where new people are added to the number of believers every day and for the roots of the emerging church to be planted deeply in the Spirit and the Word. In particular, we are asking God for 500 new believers in the year 2024.

  • Pray for those already following Jesus as they face mounting persecution from the government and their families that they would have unshakable faith in their God, continue to meet as the body, and encourage one another in the faith.

  • Pray that the Lord would make a way in the dessert as Oman has many unreached people living in desserts and other physically hard to reach areas.

  • Pray for creative access works that would lead people to Jesus.

  • Pray for the few Omani Christians (about 3% of the population) and workers in the country, that they would have wisdom of when to share about Jesus and who to share with.

  • Pray for the many people living in Oman who still do not have a Bible in their first language and that the work of Bible translation would continue.

  • Pray for quick understanding in hearts for those hearing the gospel.

  • Pray for the believing Iranian immigrant population who need intentional discipleship.

  • Pray for the men and women caught in human trafficking, especially from Africa and South Asia.
